Canada
Recent examples of politicians digging their heels in and showing how out of touch with the lowlifes they govern have been seen in Canada in recent days. The Liberal government of Justin Trudeau is in the process of changing the way Canadians vote. The Liberals want to get rid of the first-past-the-post system that has been in place since Confederation. Trudeau and his trained seals will not say exactly what system they want to bring in but it is safe to assume it will be one that will give the Liberals a better chance to govern in perpetuity. We simply cannot have a conservatives like Stephen Harper govern the country for 10 years.
Many Canadians are demanding a referendum so they can have a say in such a major change. But Trudeau is having none of that. On a Montreal radio station on Friday, Trudeau described holding referenda “bad things to happen.” The little spud recalled speaking with former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi after the Brexit vote. Trudeau told him referenda should not be held because allowing people to vote “gives people a chance to lash out at institutions—and they might.”

German cop faces CRIMINAL CHARGES for calling Angela Merkel ‘INSANE’
A GERMAN police officer is facing criminal proceedings after he allegedly branded Chancellor Angela Merkel “insane”.
The officer, from the western city of Solingen, could be fined three months’ wages if found guilty of slander.
He is said to have made the comments at an event held by the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party earlier this month.

Hillary was asked about her proudest accomplishment as Secretary of State. Here was her answer.
“My accomplishments as Secretary of State? Well, I’m glad you asked. My proudest accomplishment in which I take the most pride, mostly because of the opposition it faced early on, you know. The remnants of prior situations and mindsets that were too narrowly focused in a manner whereby they may have overlooked the bigger picture and we didn’t do that. Very proud. I would say that’s a major accomplishment.”
In an exit interview published Monday, December 26, 2016 President Obama said he could have gotten most American voters behind him if he had been able to run again.
Speaking with Axelrod in the White House, Obama said the victory of Republican President-elect Donald Trump does not mean those dreams have failed.
“Obviously in the wake of the election and Trump winning, a lot of people have — have suggested that somehow, it really was a fantasy,” said Obama, who leaves office in less than a month. “What I would argue is, is that the culture actually did shift, that the majority does buy into the notion of a one America that is tolerant and diverse and open and — and full of energy and dynamism.”

It looks like soon-to-be ex-President Obama is still the same narcissist, petulant, petty and vindictive man he has always been. At least he stayed consistent. And if he really believe that he is loved, maybe he should forfeit the security detail once gone from the White House.
Italy
For Christmas, Italian priest Father Franco Corbo put Mary in burka so Muslims won’t be offended.
The priest had defended his decision, saying that he wanted to send a message saying ‘no’ to too many walls, either literally or symbolically, that prevented integration.
He continued with ‘Islam, like all religions, is synonymous with peace and brotherhood.”
He added that Islamic State (ISIS) had nothing to do with the Islamic religion and that suicide bombers and terrorists had nothing to do with the religion.

Somehow he forgot to mention the story about moderate Muslims beheading a woman in Afghanistan for shopping without a proper male chaperone.
