Bastille Day Terrorist Attack in Nice, France

According to ‘Express’ “At least 80 people have been killed and hundreds more injured in the southern French city of Nice tonight after a terrorist firing a weapon drove a lorry into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day. After the truck mowed down crowds for more than a mile the driver got out and sprayed crowds with bullets.
Identity documents belonging to a 31-year-old French Tunisian were found in the truck according to security sources.
The source said: ‘The identification of the truck driver is still underway.’ The recovered documents indicate the man is a resident of Nice.
One eyewitness described seeing ‘bodies flying like bowling pins’ and ‘hearing noises, cries that I will never forget’ as the horror unfolded on a busy promenade at around 10.30pm last night.
The truck driver was said to have shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ — God is greatest — before being shot dead by police. Pro-ISIS groups have been celebrating the attack but as yet the terror group has not officially claimed responsibility.
Guns and grenades were later found inside the truck, which mounted the pavement at approximately 40mph and steered directly towards hundreds of people watching a fireworks display.
Anti-terror police swooped in as the city was put on lockdown and residents were warned to stay indoors for their safety. Gunshots rang out in the streets, with gunmen targeting hotels and cafes in the port city in the south of France”

ISIS is celebrating the apparent terrorist attack in Nice, France, on Thursday as retaliation for the death of Abu Omar al-Shishani—the terror group’s so-called “minister of war”—who was killed earlier this year by coalition forces while fighting in Iraq.

I guess the sleeping cells are waking up. Next will see a plethora of useless messages from politicians and head of states; however no concrete action is going to be taken.
It looks like nobody wants so address the 800 lbs gorilla in the room: Muslims are not integrating in modern western societies, especially the hard core religious ones. Once they feel comfortable and establish roots in a country, instead of trying to integrate, they put all the effort into making the host country bend over backwards to please them. Why?
Mostly because politicians are a bunch of whiny little bitches, worried for their future pensions. They could not care less about the people who were stupid enough to elect them and give them the power to control their destiny.

Update: July 15, 2016

Mr Hollande made the chilling warning after visiting vctims in hospital in Nice less than 24 hours after Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel ploughed a rented truck into crowds of people celebrating Bastille Day.

Hundreds of men, women and children were mown down leaving 84 dead and hundreds more injured.

Now the French president has warned that the number of dead could rise.

He said: “About 50 people are in an absolute urgency between life and death.”

He dded that there were a lot of foreigners and children among the dead and warned that the fight against extremist groups would be long because they would continue to try to strike at Western values.

And to confirm what I mentioned yesterday, following is an opinion of somebody with more clout than me:

Peter Neumann, a professor who specialises in radicalisation, said Nice, as well as other parts of southern France and Paris, have become “jihadist breeding grounds”, sparked by failed integration.

The King’s College London professor, said the Nice attack, which last night saw 84 people killed by a terrorist ploughing into a crowd of people watching Bastille Day fireworks, should come as no real surprise.

He said there was “almost an entire generation of people” who do not feel a part of “the French project” and that it was time for France to focus on the “deeply rooted problem” of Muslim alienation.’

Headlines July 2, 2016

Austria’s Constitutional court has ordered that the May’s presidential election be completely annulled
A new election must be held because of “particularly serious cases” of voting fraud that was detected in the vote. As a reminder, at some point the two presidential candidates were neck to neck, before the postal vote count.
Postal vote aka ‘How to manipulate the vote in your favour’. In this scenario, postal vote conveniently gave the extra boost to Alexander Van der Bellen and ensure a pathetic ‘victory’ over the leader of the Freedom Party, Norbert Hofer. At some point the pools put Hofer ahead, therefore the postal vote came to the rescue. Regardless of the vote results, what was quite clear was the fact that 50 per cent of the people were fed up with the EU or more specific the Brussels apparatus and their bureaucratic, bloated and senile way of dealing with the hot issues. Instead of addressing the crisis, those in Brussels refuse to even change course.
Mr Van der Bellen will now need to step down until the next election, which will be held in September or October.

Continuing the news from Austria:
Turkey IN, Austria OUT?
Far-right party leader Norbert Hofer said Turkey joining the bloc could be the game changer that forces Austrians to call for an EU referendum in a bid to break away.
He said: “I believe that people are able to learn, that political structures are able to develop, and that Austria will contribute to making Europe better.
“There is one exception, however, that is if the EU decides to let Turkey join the Union. Austrians will have to be asked whether they want this.”
His remarks come amid fresh discussions between Turkey and EU bigwigs after Ankara demanded an acceleration on its application in return for taking back migrants seeking asylum in Europe.

Dexit in the cards for next year?
Not really according to the latest poll – June 2016- that showed a strong support for EU among the Germans, with only 10% considering leaving the Union.
That did not deter the leader of Alternative for Germany to promise to call their own vote if they enter the German parliament in country’s general election in the fall of 2017.
A party spokesman branded Brussels a “bureaucracy monster”, before adding: “Next year the AfD will enter the German parliament and Dexit will be top on our agenda”.
They called the vote a Dexit as it stands for a Deutschland exit from the EU.
However, it may not be that simple, considering that the German constitution does not allow for a simple referendum without the constitution being reformed.

CZECH OUT: President calls for EU referendum after Brexit
CZECH President Milos Zeman has committed to fight against his government to give the nation a referendum on EU and NATO membership.
A June poll claims 34 per cent of Czechs want to leave the diminishing European Union, following in the footsteps of the UK after the historic vote for Brexit.
Speaking to voters in a small Czech town President Zeman said: “I disagree with those who are in favour of leaving the EU.
“But I’ll do my best to have a referendum so they can express themselves. The same goes for a NATO exit.
However, officials confirmed that the nation will not allow voters to have the final say on decisions regarding the country’s international obligations. According to the Prime Minister office ‘Membership in these organizations is a guarantee of stability and security’.

Meanwhile in Hungary:
PM Viktor Orban vows to continue the fight against migrant quotas
PM Viktor Orban’s ruling Fidesz party has initiated a referendum to be held in September or October over the migrant mandatory quotas imposed by Brussels, to resettle migrants arriving from countries such as Syria.
The EU migrant resettlement scheme was established last year after more than a million people entered the EU, most of them intending to settle in Germany and other rich northern countries.
Brussels is discussing a change to asylum rules that would require member states to accept a quota of refugees or pay a penalty for them to be housed elsewhere.

Despise his criticism, PM Orban does not want his country to leave EU; what he is lobbying for is more power to the member states.
In line with him is the PM of Slovakia Robert Fico, who has taken issue with plans to reform the Dublin Regulation which establishes the member state responsible for examining asylum applications.
He said: “We have a big problem with the proposed reform of the Dublin system.
“We think it’s stupid, because this is exactly what will keep dividing Europe if countries will be asked to pay 250,000 euros for each migrant they refuse to take.”

In conclusion: EU is the same mess as before, being ruled de facto by Commissioners unelected by anybody and unaccountable to anybody. Their numbers and budget are bloated, they are cocky and separated from reality.
One think they are about to accomplish: create the Orwellian state.
Welcome to 1984!
